Have you seen the center "dot" on a target or dartboard? The target has several rings of varying sizes.
To hit the target, you must pierce a ring—the smaller the ring, the higher the score. However, the highest score, or example of skill, is to hit the "dot," or center.
Aiming for the dot rather than simply hitting the target presents a distinct challenge. The outcomes will be markedly different if the desire for a greater reward drives this.
Today, we will reveal some critical procedures, tips, and tools for determining and relentlessly focusing on your dot. When each plan has a dot, we can direct our energies efficiently. Conversely, if your dot has many plans, misdirection and misapplication will cause serious problems.
Unnecessary complications kill time, motivation, and success. I believe everyone wants to avoid adopting this approach. So, let's explore what it takes to untangle confusion and replace it with rewarding specifics. Doing so gives you a sense of relief and a renewed focus on your goals.
When we determine our "dot," everything non-dot eliminates itself naturally. It's like having a buddy you consistently get drunk with, but you quit drinking. You will probably still be friends, but the fundamental dynamics will change immediately, as will the interaction structure.
If we adhere to this, the natural selection process will automate and align our lives without too much effort. Everyone appreciates it easier.
When our dot has been determined, we can reverse-engineer our strategies to create an extraordinary system to achieve our desired results.
Every sustainable level of success and achievement fails or flourishes based on its system.
So, how will you choose your dot? There are many ways to choose our dot. We may become influenced by money, prestige, power, or position status. However, without motivation as part of our core values, we may not keep going when things get tough.
If you are working two jobs to get much-needed surgery for your sick baby, nothing will stop you, especially if one of your core values is family and children.
In comparison, getting up and going to one job may be hard if you have not established a sufficient motive. Sometimes anger or hatred can be a motivational force, but it is destructive and will cause your demise if sustained.
Create a journal of your thoughts, wants, and desired rewards. The journal will help you determine whether your actions, energy, thoughts, resources, and deeds work for or against you.
Revisiting the journal allows me to be proud and motivated by my progress. I can also see where I need to improve to do more of what works and less of what doesn't. You can benefit from this same application.
The dot is the recipe. A recipe tells you everything you need, how to prepare it, and what the outcome should be. Any cook or chef will tell you that starting a dish only to find a key ingredient is not available is frustrating.
Your recipe for success may require new skill sets. When we have our dot, new skill sets are a pleasure to pursue because they are one step closer to paradise.
Everyone needs a dot. Our dot can be business, personal, or professional. How can anything be constructed well without meticulous thought? If the planning and construction are inferior, the product will be inferior, too.
We may always stay in our comfort zone once we put in the work and effort, and everything goes south because of a lack of preparation. Everything works together with everything; one thing done well supports another that needs to be done well, but it also works in reverse.
Have you ever purchased something new for your living space and decided that other things could be updated or added?
Once we start a new workout regime, we will find new energy to apply to other activities. Activity stacking can seriously empower us.
And our stacking is supported by our core values coupled with our desires.
Our dot from start to finish is an irreplaceable asset for success. So, the next time you have ideas and dreams that get put to the side. Or if you are frustrated with your progress in life or are great at starting but not finishing. The lack of your dot may be the culprit.
Let's cultivate our dot, focus on it, and pursue it relentlessly, no matter what.
Let's do it!
See you on the mountaintop.
Let's be great together.
