Welcome back, and Welcome to another day of unlimited possibilities.
Personal success comes from being a little better than the day before.
You are your only competition. Comparing yourself to others can make you vain or bitter. So, do you.
Hopefully, you have been able to take the time to perform the seven "why's" of your desires. And you have created your self-inventory.
These are crucial because things in your life, including personal fear of change, will creep up on you and attempt to derail your progress.
Remember, "A life without Big Actions Is a Life of unfulfilled Dreams."
And "Dreams are actions not Taken."
Why do 99% of people fail to realize their dreams and desires?
The answer is that they never start on them.
You never know what you can do once you take quitting out of the equation.
Fear is the biggest obstacle for most people when doing anything new. You might fear what people will say or think of you.
It may be fear of failure. But it doesn't matter because you must realize fear is just an emotion. Emotions are not absolute and only have the power you give them.
Fire is real; fear is fantasy. Anyone who puts their hand in the fire will pull it back because of the pain. But different people will have another reaction to a scary situation or movie.
The most successful people on earth are the people who fail a bunch of times. But they recognize the fact they have not failed unless they quit. And how else will you know what works or doesn't work if you don't try?
There are no failures, only opportunities to learn. You may not be confident in your judgment. You might think you must be perfectly correct one hundred percent of the time. Warren Buffet, one of the world's wealthiest men, states that every investment will not be a winner, but a huge win will negate the losses.
Judgment is a vital tool for success. But it would be best if you tried things to form a basis of sound judgment. If you are waiting to be able to do things ideally instead of trying to see what will happen with things you do, you will remain in a state of nothingness.
Nobody does anything one hundred percent correct the first time; that is how it is. Sometimes we need to do it! And not think about it. Of course, as I previously mentioned, you have done your research. You have studied people's strategies who have succeeded in the areas you are entering. I am not suggesting recklessness as opposed to calculated risks. But the key is always action. There is no substitute for action.
The bigger the dream, the more significant the action. However, procrastination is another enemy of fulfillment. So here is an excellent tool to defeat procrastination. Break It Down! Break It Down! Break It Down! Have you ever had a bunch of stuff to do and became overwhelmed before you started because you were thinking about everything simultaneously?
You can do up to one thing at a time, so think about only one thing.
Then, you section that one thing into manageable sections.
For instance, if you set out to write a four-hundred-page book in a year. It would be easy to become discouraged thinking about writing four hundred pages. But if you say I will write two hundred pages in six months. The task may seem more manageable, but if not, break it down again.
If you keep breaking it down, you may arrive at two pages daily.
Write two paragraphs. Then, take a break and two more until the two pages are complete. As you can see, breaking things down makes the monstrous projects manageable. And the additional benefit will be building your self-confidence for the next endeavor.
Another helpful tool is writing it down. It's easier to manage when you see things on paper. You can create a visual schedule. The schedule can also help you with accountability. I find it advantageous when revisited because you will say wow, look what I have already accomplished.
Writing strategies down is excellent for analysis if things don't go right. You can tweak a small section of the plan instead of throwing the whole procedure in the trash. And you will never feel "in over your head" because where you are and what you need to do next is always available.
It would now be a great idea to form an outline. You have boiled down your "why's." You know your strengths and weaknesses. You have obtained information from credible sources. Your written version is readily available. And you have the available resources on hand.
Now, it's time to take action. No, it's not time to think more; ask everyone else or evaluate anything else.
Take the first step toward freedom, wealth, health, personal empowerment, a new business, or whatever your project is.
I have given you powerful tools and effective strategies so far.
But the power is in the application. People will say, "Knowledge is Power."
No, it is not. Knowledge contains the possibility of power. The power comes from the actions of the "knowledge."
I hope to chat with you later as we continue our journey together as you leave the starting line on your way to the finish line.
Remember, "Nothing to it, but to Do It."
